I'm in a town called Clovis, New Mexico. Yesterday, we drove through a town called Roswell, New Mexico which is known to be a place where many people have seen alien spaceships and aliens! Not everyone believes them, but they say they've seen that stuff!
All of the shops in the town have that alien theme in their names. The coffee shop is called "Out of this World Coffee" and has a picture of a flying saucer and an alien on the front.
We went to the UFO / Alien museum while we were there, and I took some pictures. Here's one of a little scene they set up that shows how the government and some scientists found one of these aliens after their flying saucer crashed and took a look inside him to see what he was made of:
Yikes!
Here's a picture of what an artist thinks it looked like when one of the flying saucers crashed. It's not a great picture because the flash from the camera is reflected by the glass in front of the picture, but you can get the idea:
Also, I wanted to show you a picture of the aquarium piece that we bought to go in with the fish. It is very pretty, and the fish should be able to swim around and through it. See what you think:
If you would rather find a castle, we can go and find one and take this piece back.
Today, I'll drive from Clovis, New Mexico to Albuquerque, New Mexico. When I was your age, I lived there in Albuquerque! It is pretty, if you like the desert, and has some mountains nearby. Then, tomorrow, I'll get on an airplane and come home. I'm looking forward to seeing you tomorrow night!
